Also, there's a longer explanation below of how the 'Name Your Price' pricing system works, but if you want a quick suggestion of how much to pay, how about £5 for the whole album? Anyone who pays that (or more) will be sent a link to a free & exclusive ambient album.

about

So you'll see that next to the big 'BUY NOW' letters above it states: 'Name your price', which means you get to pay whatever you think this music is worth to you.

There's 52 minutes of music here (including 4 hidden tracks), individual artwork for each track and a gorgeous 13-page pdf booklet (designed by Al at www.dufi-art.com ).

And if you pay over £5, I'll send you a link to an exclusive 60-minute ambient album plus an additional pdf booklet of alternative artwork.

So - if you're genuinely skint please do grab the album for free, or a small amount (I'd rather you had my music than didn't after all).

But if you can afford it, then please have a think and stick a number in the £/$ box that suits you. When you pay for my music (or anyone else's for that matter), it really does make a huge difference.

I hope you enjoy the album. Please spread the word if you do :-)

Oh, and this album is the 15th collection of songs I've put out as Calamateur. Please be warned - it sounds nothing like 'Each Dirty Letter', my previous long-player. This record is loud, angry, largely electronic and may offend sensitive ears.

about

I'm a Scottish music-maker who sings songs about marriage, murder, anger, doubt, imaginary brothers, banoffee pie, bible ... more stories, precipitation and bad architecture.

I've been putting music out since the start of the millenium.

I get bored easily so, infuriatingly for some, find it hard to stick to any one genre; sometimes I'm pretty, well-polished and acoustic. Sometimes I'm angry & electronic. less
